We had a great time. Thank you. Tennis, swimming outdoor and indoor, lots of mountain biking, rafting (the boys loved that). Finn swam the length of Lac de Montriond with Theo and I on a canoe as a safety boat. And Theo and I cycled down from the Col de Bassachaux to Linga without a breath. Janet and I are bruised, scratched and exhausted. 
We loved Châtel in the summer. The colour. The light. And the gentler pace of life. We really felt we got to know the village better. Right down to comparing Pain Tradition between the two boulangeries. 

 I just wanted to let you know that the feedback from this years retreat has been amazing, everyone loved it and you and Lisa again work so hard to make the weekend run so smoothly, my retreats would not be what they are without la Chaumiere.

Many many thanks for yet another lovely week in La Chaumiere.  I feel you must always want to sleep for a week by the time we OCS-ers leave you; you care for us all so well and generously. 
And thank you especially for making me feel so well looked after. It’s a much better treatment than I get at home!!  You spoil me, and your constant good nature and charm as always make the week very special.
